Secret Planet has worked out a lovely partnership up north with our soul brother in Putney, VT, Keith Marks.
As executive director of Next Stage for the past four years, he’s built a beautiful outdoor music series which employs a “bandwagon” — a moveable stage — from field to field between May and October in southern VT. It’s a proper nice picnic hang with the casual-cozy feel of a backyard concert.
Every show in the season is a Satellite show — and no need to RSVP on these. Just pull with your tokens.

Jupiter & Okwess is a five-piece Congolese funk rock explosion led by Jupiter Bokondji. The Rebel General, steeped in the myriad musical styles of the Kinshasa of his youth, delivers a recombinant breed of soukous music powered by Western styles of funk, soul, and r&b. They first hit Western Mass last year at the Green River Festival — if you were there… it was unforgettable.
